About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling with my girlfriend, looking for a place we can rest our heads at night. We are very easy going and respectful!

ABOUT ME

These are the things on the walls in my bedroom:
1) A stick found in Sequoia National Park w/ moss
2) A flag that says "1,2,3" that was knitted by a friend
3) A postcard with John Steinbeck's picture on it
4) A postcard of Sequoia National Park
5) A small woven tapestry with ducks on it
6) A paper-cut out of a hot air balloon holding a cake that says "Happy Birthday Brad"
7) Drawings from my girlfriend: a bear, a dead bird, a picture of my face
8) A screen-printed poster of all the cars my family has ever owned, highlighting a 1980s Plymouth Voyageur mini-van with Sears X-Cargo topper

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time at the beach a seagull stole my keys and taunted me by strutting away when I got close, then stopping and then strutting again. All the while the keys were in its mouth, dangling by the key ring. Finally it flew over the ocean, thirty feet in the air. I thought they were gone for good, but then the bird dropped them in the water where it was shallow enough to hope to find them, but deep enough to want to give up. We searched and searched but only came up with sand, until a man in a red Speedo, a stranger, laid on his stomach in the water, feeling around for the keys. I don't know how, but he found them.
