We're a family of 5 traveling south in our van this summer 2023...
We are now in Tuscany, we'll stop in Naples next week and we'll explore Sicily in the second half of July.

Renzo is 43, Valeria is 38, Rita is 10, Nina is 8 years old and Franco is now 6.
We have the luck to own a 30+ years old T3 VW van that we use for holidays and outings, we are snug but cozy in it 🤣

We are concerned about environmental matters (the main reason behind our choice to be vegetarian) and we try to raise awareness and love for nature in our kids as well.
Renzo works for a company dealing with clean environment / recycling and social inclusion, Valeria is a henna artist, mum and housewife.
Our children are very outgoing, they enjoy meeting new friends, they are talkative and curious.

We like to play Geocaching and we hosted workawayers for several years and we used to be AEGEE members and Scouts (our daughters are now wolf cubs 🐺).

Our faults? We are a little messy and sometimes we lose our temper (but for sure we love each other!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This summer we're looking forward to meet friendly hosts, who will let us park our van for a nigh or two... We're independent for sleeping and cooking but it would be nice to make new friends (and use their shower!! 😅)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We entered the Couchsurfing network more than a decade ago, we both hosted and travelled, then for a long while we haven't been active here as we were hosting workawayers (with 3 kids we needed the help 😉)!

Interests

We love travelling, looking at the world with curiosity, meeting people, smiling, reading, cohoperation (in small and big things), cultural exchanges and veg food.
We are concerned about environmental matters.
Renzo loves mountains, open green spaces or forests, the sky, stars, clouds running fast..
Valeria is fond of decorating, henna art, painting, sewing, crocheting and all crafty activities! :)
Our children are very outgoing, they love games, fun, meeting new people, animals, watching cartoons, reading comics and books, outdoor activities, Rugby, exploring new places...

Music, Movies, and Books

We like european cinematography, old films and new ones too, and puppet animation, but we never manage to find the time to watch a good movie, unfortunatly...
We listen to Indian music (classic and devotional),
Anyway often the stereo is just off.
Renzo is reading slowly and his favourite books are "Tao of Physics" and the "Dhammapada".
Valeria is reading fast and she likes classics, easy reading novels, detective stories, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We experienced Love in different fields (between us, giving birth to a lovely baby, in our families, in the nature, in our friends, in the people we met, learning from Saint's lifes, in the small things, in the big things and more and more...)
