ABOUT ME

As mentioned, I recently graduated college. I'm currently waiting tables in a vacation town close to my parents house in Maine. Also, working on applying to law school. I'm 23 years old. I grew up in Ellsworth, Maine, and went to the University of Maine in Orono, Maine.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not sure I can sum up my personal philosophy at this point in my life. I'm a pretty laid back 23 who graduated college and I have parents who are cool enough to let me travel for a year. They are actually pretty supportive about me taking a year off. There's not a lot for me to be stressed about in life right now. I'm okay with that!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Want to surf while I'm in Europe next year. Also, maybe host some people this summer in Maine so I can have a normal verified profile next year while in Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In college my two female roommates had profiles and a couple of guys stayed at our place. To my surprise they were all normal. I talked to some college friends who lived in Spain this year and they recommended getting a couchsurfing profile.

Interests

I like a lot of things. I'm fairly active and love the outdoors. I play instruments (Guitar, Drums), and love music in general, like hiking, sailing, Tennis, Golf, Basketball, Running, Swimming. I love travelling and meeting new people. Not the touristy hotel type travelling but the hostel/couch surfing meeting cool people and seeing life like the "locals" do type travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Like most types of music. Not a huge hard rock fan or a huge country fan. If you're hosting and playing it I'll be okay, though. I wouldn't say I'm a huge movie fan, but I like pretty much everything from Classics to foreign Films, from action movies to Dramas. Not a huge "Chick-Flick" fan but I do have sisters and have had girlfriends so I can even watch those.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something I have done which was amazing, is being a concert promoter while in my 20's. Some shows I was either directly in charge of or 2nd in command are: The Roots, Daniel Tosh, Dayglow, Aziz Ansari, Dierks Bentley, O.A.R., Bob Saget, Girl Talk, Janelle Monae and Fun., Ludacris and J. Cole, Ben Folds, The Decemberists, to name a few!

Teach, Learn, Share

Water Sports: Growing up in Maine I have learned to be a proficient sailor/have taught sailing lessons, Kayaker, Canoer, etc.

Musical Intruments: Can play a couple of Instruments and have taught lessons before.

Cooking: Wouldn't call me a world chef but can definitely whip up some meals and often cook for my family during family gatherings.
