About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To become a "world citizen" through the people I meet and the experiences I share

ABOUT ME

G'day, I'm an Australian guy with a keen sense of adventure and enthusiasm about life and the vast expanse of experiences and people just waiting to be discovered. I will try anything once, there's no point regretting it later. I grew up on a sheep and cattle property in Outback Queensland and have moved around Australia quite a bit since finishing school for work. I have been travelling for the last 2 years since quitting my job and have never looked back!!

The rest I guess I will have to share with you in person :) .

PHILOSOPHY

No worries (sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a lot of travelers at my place when I lived in Darwin which got me hooked on the idea of couchsurfing and also meant I caught the travel bug from everyone :) . Now I'm off on my own adventures and I look forward to meeting new people and sharing their unique part of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing!!! Hosting is like going on holiday every day of the week :-) , great food, great conversation and great people!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled in Mexico and Guatemala for 3 months without any money, hitchhiking and sleeping wherever. It was an extremely humbling experience and opened my eyes to so much. I also captained my own 28ft sail boat in mexico, crossing the sea of cortez with 3 novices, twas quite the adventure :) .

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone has something to offer, so nothing in particular, but everything. I have a thirst for knowledge! I was also want to continue my Spanish after picking it up on the road in Mexico and Guatemala.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some pretty good food, and would love to share some of my creations with you :) .
