ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town in Idaho, USA which gave me the desire to travel and see more of the world. I studied abroad in the south west of England and also worked in London through BUNAC. I was living in Melbourne, Australia for the last two years. Now I'm back in the US this summer, visiting friends, family, and Couchsurfing!

I'm on couch surfing because I like meeting new people and I've found traveling is so much more enjoyable if I have a personal connection with someone that is local to the area.

I love the social activities and meeting fellow travellers and locals. I also like finding new friends that want to go out and experience different things around the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some awesome friends through the Couchsurfing social events in Melbourne.

Intereses

I spend a lot of my free time seeing theatre and performing in shows. Previously, I performed with a group that did puppet improv. And I just had the opportunity to participate in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

I enjoy the arts and culture offered in large cities - especially modern art. But I also like hanging out on the beach drinking from coconuts :)

And I'm a big fan of brewery tours. So far I've been on seven different tours in five different counties. Delicious fermented magic!

I also have a soft spot for over the top tacky things. So had a great time on my trips to Las Vegas and Dubai.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I rode a camel in the Sahara Desert during a trip to Tunisia.
(My traveling companion's experience sitting next to my camel-scented self on the night bus back to Tunis might not have been quite so amazing...)

I also find arriving in large cities like London or New York amazing -they are so vibrant and full of activity and energy.
