Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started with hosting a lot when I had a big apartment in Vancouver when I was younger, mostly from my old roommate Jon's account, then I surfed around Germany and the Netherlands, lots in Australia, and most recently the UK.

I've had so many great experiences, met the sweetest people and I'm still friends with a lot of them! It makes traveling and meeting people so much easier, especially the type of chill, like minded people that I want to meet the most.

Interests

I love reading, crafts, live music, any form of paddling, writing, hiking, camping, and taking naps. Just learning to climb and embroider but loving both so much! I'm vegan, always trying to be conscious of how I live and how it affects my surroundings. Sustainability is really important to me and I’m interested in hearing new methods and viewpoints! Of course very interested and working on mindfulness and healing, whew

Teach, Learn, Share

I like making things, mostly as little presents so not an expert by any means but I'm always happy to have a rainy craft day or just whittle by a fire with some company.

I’m learning guitar at the moment as well!

I also love writing, especially kids books and poetry, I don't think I've quite grown up yet

Embroidery is my latest thing I suppose

I guess most of my hobbies are pretty solitary, but I love to work on projects while hanging out in the same room as other people! And I have so much to learn.
