About Me

CURRENT MISSION

This year is my big 30 year. i want to be more independent and find ways to face my weakest strengths to make them my strongest strengths. I will make myself try new things and open up to new experiences.

ABOUT ME

very quirky. loves crafts and writing thank you cards. Kind and easy going but stubborn at times. loves dogs and good food.

PHILOSOPHY

trying to re-think the philosophy part of life. Living now because its easier than dying.....Was that too dark??

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined couple days ago so filling out these questions are my first step to participating.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none. it's on my list of trying something new and being open to it.

The closest thing was staying in 'casa particulares' in trinadad and havana. it's renting a room at someone's house and they give you meals.

Interests

people watching, coffee, family guy, crafts (knitter and a cross-stitcher), movies, listening to music while i go for walks along the hudson river, shopping, camping and so much more.

Music, Movies, and Books

love all music and it changes depending on the mood. Last book was about Maria Montessori.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i was at an U2 concert right by the stage and i was so amazed how close Bono was and the energy of the people in the stadium. It was just electrifying to be among the people and feel their energy for the music.

i was staying with a cuban family for about 4 days and when it was time to leave the grandma showed tears in her eyes which in turn made my friends and I also tear up. it doesn't matter if there is a language gap or the duration of time. it is amazing how people can just form a bond with each other. It makes me a little less cynical about life.

Teach, Learn, Share

i would love to learn to be more open to new things. one of my goals to better myself as i age. i want to be less introverted and accept all things that go around me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Cuba, Morocco, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

South Korea, United States
