Interests

I am a user experience designer, someone who designs a variety of interactive products (like mobile apps, websites, for example) to make existing products more pleasurable to use. No, I don't really code, and I tend to handle the full design process (from user research to prototyping and testing).

I used to practise the martial art of capoeira, rock climbing, some gymnastics (mainly tumbling like flips and the such), beach volleyball, underwater hockey and underwater rugby (sounds weird huh, but it's actually pretty fun)! Now I try to do calisthenics.

I used to do social Latin dance, but am very rusty now. I love to check out good art and music too!

I do scuba diving once in a while (would be often if I had the money), and I'm a gardener too (so yes, I am quite a botanist).

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to alternative and indie music mainly, listen to anything so I don't really remember bands except for a select few. I am receptive to any music that sounds good, so please share :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? Nah:

1. Witnessing manta rays and thresher sharks underwater
2. Seeing auroras (and almost sleeping at a bus stop) in Kiruna, Sweden
3. Hitchhiking on a motorcycle near Sitges, Spain
4. Visiting Iceland
5. 10 days of endless cherry blossom chasing in Japan, and then 10 days in Korea, and then...
6. Riding a scooter for the first time.. into Taroko National Park
7. Working in a tea plantation in Wazuka, Kyoto Prefecture
8. Walking in waters filled with blue tears (ostracods) in Nangan, Lienchiang

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't speak Mandarin (Chinese) that well (there's nothing between expert and intermediate level on the language section), but I'll be more than happy to try to teach it!

I am skilled in photography, though I tend to shoot landscapes more often nowadays, so if you need a photographer or some guidance, you can look for me ;)

My background as an industrial designer means I know how to do 3D modelling too, so if you need some help for 3D printing, I can!
