ABOUT ME

Working full time these days for an airline and travel quite a bit for both fun and business. Helene works as a travel manager for Ubisoft. Did a trip around the world in 2013 and would love to give back after being fortunate enough to benefit from surfing around the world.

Outdoorsy with a variety of interests. Brewed beer a few times. Tim is an avid ball hockey player and Helene loves cooking.

We are Spanish students, so we would love to practice as much as possible and exchange a little bit about our culture for a little bit of yours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

These days, try to attend as many events as possible. Travel a lot, but for shorter times about 5-10 times a year. Most CS is meeting up with travellers and the ocassional hosting or surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On the road, attended a few events in Mexico City, Amsterdam, Kathmandu and surfed in Guadalajara, Lima, Madrid and Iran. Awesome experience.

Interests

Biking, live music, getting a beer at the bar, watching great TV shows like Arrested Development and Breaking bad, snowboarding, reading the internet, learning Spanish, cooking delicious food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experienced the 2011 Japan earthquake while at Mt. Fuji (approx 500km from the Tsunami so we were out of the danger zone).

Been on a few long distance bike trips. Biking by day and camping by night.
