I've been couch surfing on and off for a few years. I'm a friendly, outgoing guy who just likes to meet smart, like minded people. I am a social studies teacher so I'm very interested in world affairs. I've recently turned into somewhat of a hippie and developed an interest in meditation, buddhism, and things like this.

I am living in Tai Wai with my girlfriend Zoko, a Hong Kong native. She is a friendly sweetheart and a cantonese speaking Hong Kong native so can definitely point you in the right direction if you need.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally came on couch surfing looking for interesting people to meet while I was traveling. Then I stayed on it to host people in my own country, I was living in Kazakhstan in a place with not many foreigners and it is really nice to meet other travellers and get to know each other.

I have not been on here in a long time, I'm trying to get back into it because the expat community in Hong Kong can be very cold and corporate, and I am interested in finding some like-minded hippies like myself to make friends with.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a pretty nice apartment, quiet and new, with all the amenities, I live across from a pretty nice swimming pool and am just 5 minutes from the MTR. I'm right near some good local places to eat, a park, and a nice river to walk on. I have a really large couch that can fit any person on it. IF I'm cooking you're welcome to join in what I've made.
