Hey guys,

I'm Laura, I'm 23 and I'm currently doing my master's in Media Studies in Innsbruck (Austria). I originally come from South Tyrol(Italy), which is why my mother language is German. I'm very outgoing and I love to travel and meet new people. People say they've never seen me not smiling but I guess that's exaggerated ;) I just enjoy life and want to life it to the fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

2 years ago I decided to try out couchsurfing when I was studying in New Orleans and traveling around the U.S. I had a great time and met lots of ppl that I'm still friends with today. I love the concept of having new people over and spend time with them. It doesn't only give the hosts the chance to make friends and experience new cultures, but it can also really help the surfers to save money in a new city and experience their stay from a local's point of view. Win-Win situation!

Interests

I'm a little animal lover and enjoy spending time with my dog and horse. I'm also really into film production (shooting, editing, acting etc.) and I hardly ever leave my house without my camera ;)

I'm a freelance writer for a German Online Marketing Agency and at the moment I also work at our local Scotch&Soda store as a shop assistant in order to finance my studies)

I mostly spend my evenings at the gym, at dinner with friends, or watching modern family ;)

There's so much that I'm interested in that it's hard to summarise it ;) I'd love to tell you about me and my life in person though! :)

A frog in a well doesn't know the ocean.. Love this quote! The first time I traveled by myself I was 15 years old. Since then I feel restless and seeing new places and meeting new people makes me happy. A lot of my friends (including my family) do not really share that passion and don't understand why I always want to leave, but I just love the taste of sea water...
