Meeting Japanese friends and learning more about Japanese culture, language and habits!

ABOUT ME

I am a 28-year-old woman who works in mental health, as a psychologist. When I don't work, I like to socialise with friends. I play badminton in a social club several times per week, but also like dancing in clubs or having dinner parties at home. I like hanging out with friends or going to museums/cinema/exhibitions. I like travelling and would like to see more of the world, especially Asia! I have been to China and Thailand, and I am going to Japan in September 2012.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life being considerate to others. My profession is about caring for others who are having a difficult time, and I would like to think that I have a natural way of helping people, not just because I have had training in it. I would like people to be a little more respectful of each other, if we can.

I hope to discover more interesting things in life, to prevent being stuck in too much of a routine (although I do like organisation and things running smoothly).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like so many kinds of music, everything from indie and electro to Japanese trip hop or jazz. I like reading, but I don't have enough time to do it anymore. At the moment I am ready Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, by Murakami.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The great wall of China was absolutely amazing. Snorkelling/kayaking in Thailand was so beautiful, it can't be described with words.
