ABOUT ME

I will soon finish my studies in engineering physics and nanotechnology. After that we will see where I will end up, getting a PhD somewhere or in industry.

I have travelled a quite lot and always alone. I usually end up meeting new and interesting people who teach more about their and mine culture. The more I travel, the more I want to travel.

I have so far been travelling in Asia, Indonesia and western and central Europe. Well, at the moment I am in the US for my very first time. My next dream trip is to Argentina, Dominican republic and Cuba to meet friends I met while travelling and hopefully a lot of new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

The best way to learn something is to try to explain it to others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to use couchsurfing to meet people and help them in my city. I will also use it to get company when I am travelling in a new city.

I would like to show people around Göteborg. I hope you do the same for me in your city. Unfortunately I can't provide accommodations for anyone at the moment and I have no expectations for you to do that for me either.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just started using Couchsurfing yesterday, so I am very new to this. I hope to find people to give me tips on places to go and new interests. I also would like to give back the kindness when I go back home.

I heard about couchsurfing from a person I met at a hostel when I was on Borneo last year. But since then I had no time to get into it, due to studies. Now my studies have calmed down and I find myself more in charge of my own time.

兴趣

I am into travelling to new places, especially with a different culture than mine. I really like sailing and snowboarding. A new interest of mine is salsa and bachata, which I instantly grew attached to. Currently I am also training for a half marathon, but it takes a lot of effort since it is my first.

When I am travelling I usually try to go into nature and hike. I also try to go for scuba diving or sailing if the opportunity is given.

音乐、电影和书籍

I like to observe the music where I am staying. When I was in Australia I started liking Xavier Rudd and I still am. Otherwise I listen to quite varying music, everything from metal and hard rock to bachata.

I really like Tarantino movies, but to be honest I have not seen too many movies.

I read a lot, or did before my studies took over. Then I liked reading novels that are reality based and has a purpose. I also like comic novels such as "The hundred year old that ran away" (not sure if that was the right translation).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My first trip alone was the most incredible one since this is when my travel interest started. This trip took me to Hong Kong, East coast of Australia and New Zealand. I did bungyjumping, river rafting, hiking and took my scuba diving licence. But the very best thing was when I spontaneously got a job on a sailing boat as a host and I ended up staying for 1,5 months.

In addition to that trip and the Europe trip I have done I went to Borneo. Borneo is really a beautiful place! I also went to a friend's wedding in Taiwan, which was a true experience.

Last but not the least, I managed to hike up to the highest mountain in Sweden; Kebnekaise.

I know snowboarding and sailing since I was a kid and I would like to show the charm of it. I enjoy observing my environment and learn what is typical for the place I am going to. If it is outdoor activities it is even better.
