Originally from Hawaii and Seattle, I now live in Santa Cruz, CA with my husband and our dog, Kenji. Professionally I'm a researcher focused on understanding human behavior, and in my free time I love painting, making ceramics, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people when I travel, particularly when I'm traveling solo or to a place I've never been before. I've had some wonderful experiences on couch surfing and met some really cool people, so I'm excited to meet more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day I was between jobs and had some extra flight credits, so I took a spontaneous trip to Barcelona the next day and met up with dozens of people across the city to interview and film them for an art project. Many I met through couch surfing!
