About Me

ABOUT ME

My best friends would say that I am always a good time, the one who makes them laugh and is quick to facilitate a fun night out on the town. I'm friendly, happy-go-lucky, and love to carry on a conversation, be it with a taxi driver or a fellow traveller. I love meeting new people, trying new foods, exploring new cities, and pretty much adventures in general. I'm not big on making advanced plans, much preferring to go with the flow and appreciate the magical connections that I always seem to stumble in to.

Interests

The outdoors: snowboarding, scuba diving, surfing, biking, hiking, camping, swimming, playing sports with friends. Reading: fiction, non-fiction, long-form journalism- favorites include Vonnegut, Steinbeck, Orwell, Evelyn Waugh, and many more. Music: My favorite kind of music is new music, stuff I've never heard before. That said, I'm mostly into motown, classic rock, indie rock, international music ala Amadou & Miriam, instrumental stuff like Rodrigo y Gabriela or Hans Zimmer. I can also get down with old-school rap (I am from California) and when partying can get into House/ Electronic Dance Music. Going to concerts is probably my favorite thing in the world- this year I went to Coachella, Sasquatch, and EDC, and that's just the festivals. Any live music in any venue where I can dance is pretty much my jam.
