ABOUT ME

i like "mistakenly" going on the wrong side of the road, heading slowly towards my unwritten mysery and happy moments. stepping on broken glass to really feel the path. now i m in the period of life when i should get mature and think about what i really want to do in my life, but it just feels wrong to go to university and having to change my life according to pressure coming from outside. now i m just travelling and looking for sustainable alternative, and i m living it, so it s real and possible :)

i could describe myself as a hardcore kid, even though i don t like labels, it s a nice culture i can identify with. also a lot of aspects of my life are influenced by the ethics i believe in, as i try to live a life without hurting human and non human beings, thus i went vegan two years ago.
even tho the ethics part is pretty strong for me, i m not a freak. I can talk about a lot of issues, but also enjoy a walk into the nature and just forget about these problems and enjoy being in a beautiful enviroment.
usually i don t feel very comfortable with small talk, but i don t want to say that i like big talk. i just want to let the dynamism be.
i don t judge people by the choices they do, and i don t want to sound like a cliche, but during conversations it often happens that i feel different emotions and i m really connected. i m curios in stories of people, about what is the most important for them. i just like when this happens in a natural way. maybe that s why i hate rationalized spaces. i don t like that people, at different restaurants are trained to say certain things, always the same, trying to be posi but for me it just feels nevrotic.
not rarely when i was hitchhiking i took bad rides just because i felt like i wanted to get to know some people. it didn t matter to me that that thing meant me getting in a city where i didn t know anyone or didn t have a place to sleep. i don t plan a lot my travels either. yes, sometimes i use couchsurfing, but must of the time not. i just go to a city with my backpack and maybe my guitar and just hang out, go to a park, usually i find people that let me stay at their place. maybe not in the first night, but still :)
i like depressive people or people who have been depressed at some point and talk about it, and i m especially grateful to my depressions. they leave room for over whelming emotions.
I am passionate about dadaism and punk culture (especially 80's hardcore) and also any other manifestations of DIY art, as it is the only way in which artists can really express themselves, without being influenced by any preset rules by which they should adapt their creation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's difficult to pick two amazing things I've done...but I'll mention the bike trip from Arad to Wien. I had decided upon it just a day before, having only 100 euros and no knowledge of where I'll sleep or about the trip itself. I left with my brother and two other friends.
In the first day, which consisted of the road from Arad to Sziget, we slept in a dorm for 8 euros/night. the second morning we left immediately, ate on the road. the goal was to get to budapest in the same day, but the wind was strong, we got there at about 7 pm. We had only found a fully booked, cheap motel, so we wandered through town and finally decided to sleep under the Bridge of Liberty.
The next day (being divided into two groups, after a fight, as I was now only in the company of my brother, and neither of us had a map) we slept by the road, on the grass, close to the slovakian border. When we woke up, we asked people for directions to Bratislava, where we had to pay 22 euros to get a good night's sleep, we slept for 11 hours..the second day, at about 12 pm we started our trip to Wien, thinking it would be an easy one, with only 60 km to go, , but the wind and rain slowed us down, so we got there at about 6 pm. We had heard of a place called streetwork, where there were people who could help us, but it was closed at that hour. We found a hotel, for 7 euros/night, and next day proceeded to visit streetwork, where we ate and recieved a map of the EKH squat, where we spent two nights. I was supposed to get to a concert, but I was too drunk to do so. :Lucky that I can now say I've been straight edge for almost two months. :)

The second was when I went by bike from Bucharest to Vama Veche. It was dark, I was in a village and the road that we had to take, though on the map, in reality didn't exist anymore. In front of us,just a field, there was no light so we knew that we had no chance to take this road. We returned in the village to ask people for directions. There were some drunk guys with cars and a scooter. They wanted to beat us and maybe to steal our bikes. We ran as fast as we could on some dark paths, so they couldn't follow us. We had no idea where we were. We saw a house and called out the people that were living there. A guy responded, we talked with him, he gave us some directions, but in the dark we could not follow. So we asked him if we can camp in his backyard. He let us, and then he invited us in his house, gave us some food and drinks. We left in the morning. Even in the daylight it was hard to follow the directions.
