About Me

Live the present, be grateful and experience life. These are my little motos.

I am an open person, born in Brazil, with a huge love and extra appreciation on experiencing life and living the present fully.

I like to get inspired by traveling and observing the world. Watch some movies, read books, listen to Hi-Fi audio and take care of my collection of LPs. I also love to spend time talking and exchanging experiences and ideas.

I often spend my time creating things, planning ideas, writing books, taking and developing pictures or directing documentary films, planning installations.

I'm also extremely passionate about running. I love attending marathons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I often go to couch surfing meetings in the places I am visiting and living.
I help people feel at home where I live and easy their life transaction. I do that by showing them the city cool spots, giving them arms to cry, moments and experiences to share laughs as well.

I also travel the world a lot, trying to stay as guests of another hosts. Mutual exchange is everything the world needs. Couchsurfing helps provide that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll list three, it's a more sophisticated number:

* Travel all by myself to places I'd not have gone without a self-push, like 1 year in the USA as an exchange student when I was 16 yrs old.

* Finished an alienating Engineering degree (Computer Engineering) and not waste 7 years of my post high-school life!

* Gave-up a promising career as a CEO of my own software company to go after my dream to live in Europe and create technology products and contemporary art installations.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach:
* People many tips on planning and executing trips of any kind around the world;
* How to prepare drinks and foods from the places I have lived;
* Many things related to computers, from beginners to extremely advanced, like fixing and optimising your Wi-fi router all the way to programming language structure patterns and complex computer long distance intercommunication ;
* Many things related to filmmaking, like directing tips, cinematography techniques and production hints;
* Many many things related to photography, from going 100% analog and how to develop your own pictures to digital apps and plugins;
* Languages: Portuguese, English and French.
You ask me and I can share some knowledge.
This list could go on and on. I am going to stop it from here right now.

I can learn pretty much anything someone is willing to give me as knowledge. I am an information sponge!

I can share my life stories, my knowledges, my experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I stay at someone's house, I am not there as a guest.
I am there as a person who wants to share experiences, learn things and give some knowledge and help in return.

If you accept me to stay at your place for a certain given time, be sure I will leave it as I found it, I am very clean and hygiene driven, and I really am willing to help in any matter possible, such as cleaning the house, making food, or taking care of some pets to easy down this tasks for you a bit.

I can also give knowledge to some skills outside housekeeping, like optimize your internet and wifi router connections, fix your computers, teach you some filmmaking, photography or technology gigs...

And lets exchange life experiences as well, since this helps a lot shape who we are and give us strength and hope for change.
