Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I try to join CS events as much as I can. As I will move to France for a couple of months soon, I cannot plan any hosting for now. Last-minute requests, if I am in town, could be accepted (one or two people at most).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted a couple of times around France, Denmark and Italy, actually I really enjoyed the CS-spirit. I think that most of the people you get to know through CS can share a lot, adventures, experiences, travels. I participated to CS events even in Rio de Janeiro lately (:

Interests

Learning languages, history, art history, new cultures, traveling
Sports (Table tennis, Beach-volley, Windsurfing, Football, Basketball, Snowboarding, Swimming..)

Playing music, lately I am into ukulele blues. And there are a few jam sessions around berlin worth to hear (:

..and hitchhiking! Best thing I've ever done in my life. I traveled South America with tent and hammock and my big thumb.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well..many crazy stories. I opened up a restaurant in Colombia with my argentinian friend and we made pizza, gnocchi, and pasta for tourists almost for a month, in a paradise-place on the Caribbean sea.

Another one, I got stuck 24 hours in one service station in Recife, Brazil, as I did not get anybody picking me up. I spent the evening with many truck drivers eating and drinking, they were waiting for the goods load coming in two days. And finally I ended up sleeping on a hammock in the empty part behind a truck (:

Teach, Learn, Share

I play guitar and ukulele and I of course can share my (little) knowledge about music, eventually jam together (:

I was a professional table-tennis player and instructor during the last years. I thought to kids mainly.
