ABOUT ME

--I LOVE MUSIC!!!--

The reason I list music first is that, to some degree, the music you listen tells who you are, and what kind of life you enjoy living. Under all kinds of situations and emotions, I have options of songs in my mind to bring out the atmosphere, there€'s always music ringing in my head.

I love rock n roll. I went to all the rock concerts of my favorite bands when in college and hence collected piles of the tickets of rock concerts (by far my favorite one is from Maybeshewill in Wuhan, 2012). I enjoy especially Post Rock/ Post-Punk/ Alternative/Garage/Brit-Pop bands (and on and on)! If you love rock n roll we will definitely talk about it non-stop!

Besides rock, I love all kinds of other music, Jazz, Gospel, Pop, R&B, Folk, etc. If you see me alone on the street or where-ever, you will definitely see me with earphones and music all the time. I can't stand a world without music. Someone who loves music like I do definitely gets a bonus! XD

PS, I was in a school choir when pretty young, thus I love singing. And I was also in a Symphony Orchestra as a drum player, but only with some basic knowledge of it LOL. Now I'm learning guitar, and sometimes I will be on a stage to sing in front of audience.

--Sth more about me--

In the past I studied Marketing/Interpreting in college, and MKT/PR is my favorite subject of all time (besides language), as it fits my personality a lot. And you will find the world a lot funnier after you learn something about MKT.

Now I will work in a totally new field than MKT in an international firm, and explore a whole new world of knowledge. I'm looking forward to it, because it will give me a chance to work and travel everywhere. I'm exciting about it. I'm twenty something and still on the road, I don't know where my next station - but this uncertainty is what makes me feel good about life. When life always surprises you, you will feel fresh every single day.

--I would LOVE to share!!!--

I'm laid back and out-going. I hold back nothing when talking to friends! love sharing my stories. If you want to have fun, I will tell you all the jokes I know; If you want to talk about whatever about life and goal, I would love to share all my view with you. I'm open-minded to talk about anything I want, that's why I enjoy my best friends around me as we all share views of the world together and fight together. Talking to my friends always makes me feel blessed.

hmmm.Maybe I will share with you how to cook, but I'm still learning. Currently I am crazy about Mexican food and I love Doritos with Salsa dips(I can do this one!) Do share with me your cooking skills, my stomach would love to travel around the world as well! XDDD

Well, there's a lot more....and I would not even hesitate to tell you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I read a book from a Taiwan Writer about CS and so I'm here. XD

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time of CS for me was in Nanjing with Kyle and Yuan, they hosted me as good friend and made me feel no distance, I really enjoyed it. Afterwards Kyle came in Shenzhen and I showed him around here.

And I met many people in Thailand, HK and Shenzhen because of CS. I'm really thankful to that.

Since I live with parents I can't host anybody(but I definitely will if given the chance), and I just showed many people around in Shenzhen and even in HK. I had great time with them and I enjoy talking to them. Without going anywhere, the world is opening to me because of CS. I will try my best to do something in reward in the future.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Pogo and dive(people pushing you up by hands while you lie on them)in the crowed in 2013 Shanghai MIDI　Music Festival, when the vocal of the band said on the stage "Nicole, you are beautiful".
