About Me

I've become quite spiritual in the last couple of years. Being present, fully in the moment, is important for me. To be in contact with my authentic self and to share that.

I've worked in pretty diverse areas. My latest venture was to work as a cuddle therapist (being one of the first ones in Berlin to do that). That means: Holding, gently and lovingly touching clients in a safe, 100% non-sexual environment. This may sound strange to some people, I know. You can visit my website www.kuscheln.berlin (it's in German, though) to find out that it's legit and even read some press articles about me.
Related to that is my work as giving workshops on cuddling and authentic movement and my work as a life coach.
Other stuff I've done: software development, journalism, ..

Just to say this up front: Just because body contact plays such an important part in my life, doesn't mean that I hug everybody or want to be hugged/touched by everybody. Consent is crucial and of utmost importance. Clear and honest communication plays a vital part in this. To state boundaries, what one wants and not wants.

I don't smoke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It makes the world a friendlier place. Growing more and more together.
I love to meet new people! Hear their stories, why they do what they do, how they ended up where they are, their dreams, their regrets. Curiosity about life. To inspire and be inspired.

Interests

I love improvised acting and dancing. I frequently visit the Contact Improvisation jams in Berlin. It's fantastic to let the body communicate directly, play and fool around. Like in a playground. Giving myself permission to be childish.

Music, Movies, and Books

"The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying" comes to mind as it got me started in spirituality (though I haven't read it in years now). "Shadow work" by Debbie Ford was a big inspiration in 2017.

I listen to a wide spectrum of music (maybe except pop :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pondering about it, I think the greatest thing is that I made some people become more connected to themselves. Opening the door to more self-love and acceptance. And in result, also in better connection to others.
We are all amazingly beautiful beings inside.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach meditation (different styles), Qi Gong, authentic movement, ..

I'm curious about virtually anything. Currently, I'm learning to improvise piano and would love to dig into making electronic music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I learned so far about becoming more present. If it feels right for both of us, I can give bodywork like massage or do some energywork.

Or just simple things like cooking together (love to experiment with different combinations in the kitchen).
