Changed a lot since traveling-- a good friend and fellow couchsurfer described me as a "social butterfly"..which I quiet like..

Otherwise I'm outgoing, funny or silly, curious about life and get to know new people..
energetic to see as much as possible of the world I'm living in..
caring about others.. especially in combination with food :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being back home again and would love to continue catching up with travellers from all over the world!! So I can try to bring the multi cultural feeling from Melbourne to Stuttgart :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First I only did twice Helpx in Cairns, which was awesome!First I felt bad about it to stay somewhere without giving something...but now I realized that it's something very special and a precious experience!
In Melbourne I met this amazing people through CS and it changed my way of life, view of friendships - because it's so true that strangers are friends you haven't met yet!!
In India and Dubai I had my first "real" CS experiences and they were overwhelming!! The hospitality and time they shared with me was unbelievably awesome!!! Cannot imagine travelling ever again without CS!!

Interests

I love to be outdoors and be active or just relax..I'm pretty good in the last one..
Would like to do many new outdoor activities like biking, hiking, exploring new places and so on!
And the big thing relaxing - just hang out, have a nice chat or relax with a picnic in a nice park!
Climbing is my latest passion since 2018

Music, Movies, and Books

I feel like I've read 1000 books..my interests are changing a lot lately...definitly done with thrillers... biographies about drug dealers, hippies, virgin millionairs and a guy,who named his computer apple (?!) are more fascinating..the real life stories..what can happen to you and me..the latest book was "three cups of tea" - amazing and inspiring story about a failed attempt to climb the K2 ended up instead with building schools in remote afganistan!
self-help or more the inspirational books..."the art of happiness" of matthieu ricard is beautiful! "Love is letting go of fear" and excited to read "Power of now" from Eckhart Tolle!
this kiwi traveller guy , gerar toye, has a great photo book, globalgypsy, with his and other famous phrases in it...I love it!!

Living in Melbourne, I enjoyed so many lovely Live Music Places, hope to find them here as well!! Otherwise I enjoy a wide variety of music and more than happy to sing along as loud and wrong I can be :)

Watched lots of movies, but always happy about some good suggestions!!Recently Life of Pi, Into the Wild, Les Miserables, which are some of the best I've watched lately...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling in India was fascinating! So glad I listened to my inner guts and did it despite the facts all over the news and worried friends... and it was great!! what else, it's incredible India ;) The people, especially my great Couchsurfer hosts, the 10 days silent vipassana meditation, Taj Mahal and Rishikesh with its special vibe made my short 3 weeks stay to the best experience I could have ever imagined!

Other good memory is ConFest in Moulamain, Australia... I can only recommend ANY Couchsurfer to experience this amazing community get together!! I'm so happy I was part of it and carry on now the spirit everyone celebrated there!

New Zealand is still my number one when it comes to nature!!The clearview of the stars while wild camping on the South Islands' westcoast..seeing some spectacular wildlife and landscapes.
Australia offered me the best city life in Melbourne so far and beautiful nature around Kangaroo Island and Wilsons Promontory!
My six months in South East Asia were just a dream!!! Otherwise Grand Canyon, skydiving as a birthday present, diving & kitesurfing in the red sea, visiting Angkor Wat, swimming in beautiful waterfalls all around SEA and so on...
