ABOUT ME

I think that I am a friendly, interested, enthusiastic and helpful guy, whom you can trust and relie on. I am a good friend because I can be funny but also serious about certain topics, and I do think that i am a person you can talk to. If something interests me i can be very energetic and delightet, and I love to see new things and make new experiences. That is the main reason why I participated in Couch Surfing...

PHILOSOPHY

I want to live my life in a way, that in the end, when i am an old man, I can say: "My life was good!". With good I mean the balance between family, friends, journeys and hobbies and the balance between fun and work and beeing able to say that I enjoyed my life, but also helped other people beeing happy in their own lifes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel, but I do not like to stay in hotels or hostels, because when travelling I think it is not enough to just visit touristic places or enjoying some time on the beach. No! I think the sence of traveling is also to get in touch with the PEOPLE from the country you are visiting. I am very enthusaistic about the idea of couch surfing, because this is the best way to make this come true.
Of course I would also like to host people, because I actually do have space in the flat, which I would be happy to use. I could host up to 3 people, who are interested in Vienna and want to see this beautiful city. My flat is located in the centre of Vienna, 10 minutes by foot to the STEPHANSPLATZ.

Interests

I love reading and sports (especially rowing, swimming, biking climbing and slacklining)and watching movies with my friends. I like to see new things and make new expieriences. Learning new languages for example is something I am very enthusiastic about. Traveling and getting to know new people and their culture is something I am really interested in... Also I like history, art, literature and of course music. I love boardgames and food.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES: Kubrick, Tarantino, Tarkowski, Nolan, Eastwood, Penn, Nichelson. Just a short brainstorming of my favourite regisseurs and actors. My favourite movies in the moment, but I am sure this changes a lot, are INTO THE WILD and CLOCKWERK ORANGE, but also PULP FICTION and THE SHINING
MUSIC: The Crooks, The Black Keys, Linkin Park, Die Toten Hosen, Eminem, The White Stripes, Metallica, Florida, Supertramp, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles,... A brief list of interprets I listened to in the last time. You can see that I can not really define my taste in musik, because it seriously includes almost every genre. Let's just say: I like what sounds good.
BOOKS: It is very difficult to make a list here, but I'll try to give an impression about what I like with just making a list of the last five books I read: ERAGON 4, The Hunger Games,Cherryman jagt M.White, Small world, Animal Farm

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spontaneously went to the barber and let him make a mohawk haircut (IROKESE). That means that all hair are cut, only leaving a small path in the middle of the head. Than i went to school, which is a very traditional and conservative catholic school and enjoyed the reaction.
