ABOUT ME

My friends would say I'm a spontaneous girl who always tries to stay positive and can act quite crazy from time to time. I'm thrustworthy and loyal to my friends, and always into just hanging out with them. And althought it's not always easy, I try to be confident and chase my dreams.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not very active as a CS host as my personal situation is not the best place to host people. But I did host several traveller together with my housemates in Brisbane while staying there on a working holiday visa.
As a member, I did some couchsurfing in Europe and Australia, and got to know some of my best friends now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had more great and even amazing onces than bad onces (only 2). But I still believe in the philosophy and hope to start hosting a lot of interesting travellers when my own little appartement is ready.

Interests

I love sports, not that I'm good at them, but I love watching swimming, cycling, soccer/football, rugby, etc. I've been a swimmer all my life, it's not only a hobby but a lifestyle and I try to transfer my passion about swimming to others by being a swim coach. In my spare time, I like to discover and try different things, look for those little unknown places in the world and enjoy a good time with great people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Very broad range of music genres, just have a look at my music list and you'll know.
I love comedy and animation movies, but can definately appreciate some action movies and (psychological) thrillers like Flightplan, Don't say a word, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a lot of moments that left me awestruck, so it's very hard to choose. But I'm most proud of my last big journey: travelling Australia by myself and meet new people everywhere I come.
My most amazing accomplishment: Swimming the Lorne Pier to Pub swim in 2013 and beating my friend with 9 minutes. I competed again while visiting Australia in 2015. Planning to go back this year and participate for a 3rd time!

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy people that make me laugh and give me a good time. Also people with a mind of their own and can teach me something new, going from small everyday things to new views on life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A meal, a laugh, some good company and maybe have a discussion about the best sport(wo)man in the world.
