As of June 2017 I have permanently relocated to Oregon (it's about time!) ECLIPSE camping spots available!
Still moving in, not completely set up inside. Abundant camping spaces in my yard, though! Perfect camping weather. Oh & let's not forget the Eclipse coming up in Salem, Oregon!

In the process of relocating to Oregon but still have space to host; however you will need to bring your own bedding.. If I am not home, I have private camping space avaliable as well as running water. Shoot me a request and we will go on from there!

As a side note: I am an avid recycler. I've been asked dietary preferences, so here it goes: I do not eat red meat, pork, ham, bacon, fried food, processed foods, white rice, white pasta, white bread . . . . I always have plenty of food that I bring along. but if you insist on feeding me. . there you have it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just got back from surfing in Oregon 2015 and ready for my next adventure! Willing to experience the "other side" by hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My son in the tan jacket in the pic just got back from China and told me about this site and he loves it!!!!! So . . . in August 2015 I took off for 16 days and surfed the Portland, OR area. Let's just say that "All good things must come to an end. . . . ." Great hosters out there!

Interests

Anything outdoors. At one point, have owned two rescue horses, three rescue dogs and two rescue cats. Also a voracious reader. Prefer memoirs (someday I will write my own!), bios, Native American mysteries, true life adventure stories, theological and historical literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Actually, several! In the summer of 2022 I backpacked the California section of the Pacific Crest Trail. This distance was approximately 1600 miles. The summer of 2023 I picked up where I left off & covered another 429 miles of the PCT, 3/4s thru the Oregon Section

Birthed 5 kids over 8 lbs via natural childbirth, obtained two Master's degrees, speak German, studied Hebrew and Greek. Currently leaning French via Duolingo as my oldest daughter lives in Brussels with her family .
