Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Seeking out other creative types for collaborations on projects.
ABOUT ME
I am a visual artist who also owns a finance business that helps creative people. I live in Brooklyn but spend time in Barcelona and Germany working on The I Love You Project [www.theiloveyouproject.net]. Planning to live part time in Neukolln or Kreuzberg, and searching for apartments.
PHILOSOPHY
Live simply so that others may live. I am an Athiest, and I respect the beliefs of other people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted a lovely young lady from Ukraine who stayed with me multiple visits. Since I live with my 19 year old son, I can't host very often, but we do plan to host more surfers! Lately, it's been mostly hosting overseas friends visiting NY. I also network through CS for my art projects. Met a wonderful woman in Berlin who helps with translations.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted a lovely young lady from Ukraine who stayed with me for 3 days and returned for 2 more visits! We are now good friends and I am staying with her in Kiev to work on my project together!
Interests
I enjoy creating, and if it's the sort of thing that helps the planet and people, all the better. I spend most of my time running my finance business, and some time pursuing art on a global scale. I spent time with my teen son at concerts. I travel a few times a year for both business and pleasure, and these trips will become more frequent once I find an apartment in Berlin.

Music, Movies, and Books
Concerts I have attended: Radiohead, Kasabian, Interpol, RJD2, Beck, Phantogram, James Blake, David Byrne & St. Vincent, The National, How to Destroy Angels, DIIV, Alt+J, Kings of Leon, Muse, NIN. I go to Governor's Ball annually. Books: a bunch of books about nomadic architecture, interior design, some novels [David Sedaris mostly].
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have traveled a lot to exhibit my artwork, and in the process have expanded my group of friends to the global level. Further the experience of visiting other countries has helped my art evolved from being an abstract painter to creating social art through photography and video. I also create art using recycled materials.
Teach, Learn, Share
I started learning German but couldn't keep up with it daily. I know how to use Quickbooks [expert level]
