People are the source of my motivation to travel, connect, and work. I gain so much energy from connecting to what people care about whether it is their farm, community, local plants, animals, friends, or loved ones. People struggle and thrive in so many ways, and I think being able to talk about all of them is so important. I love to dive deep into how others live throughout the world.

Right now, I spend a lot of time thinking about climate change and what I can do to help stop it. It has impacted my life in the Western United States in many ways with fires, drought, lack of snow, and mass die-offs of plants and animals. I want to learn from the world what we should be doing to help tackle what I think is the greatest treat to us as humans, and our plant and animals neighbors as well.

All that being said, I am pretty happy go lucky. It's easy for me to feel at home and comfortable anywhere except for large cities, although I do like visiting those too. I thrive on adventure and don't mind when things go wrong or don't work out as expected. I can be a very hard worker when I see the point in what I'm doing such as helping people, healing the earth, learning to heal others or myself, learning to laugh or feel more. I generally don't take myself too seriously, although I do have some strong values that motivate me and compel me to act in ways that do no harm.

I am athletic and love outdoor sports including running, mountain biking, mountain climbing, and swimming.

Currently I live in Durango, Colorado, on a community farm with 15 other people in a beautiful red rock canyon. I love where I live because I feel close to mother earth and have people around to learn and share with.

In the past I have worked as an Engineer in the solar industry. Though I liked working towards a future without fossil fuels, I had a hard time with working in an office in a compartmentalized life. Now I'm working on building a schoolhouse on the farm where I live, and I get up every day excited to work.

I have talents and skills in problem solving, construction, building, fixing things such as cars and machines. I want to learn more about living in harmony with the earth, healing, eco-building, problem solving, learning new languages, new cultures, and finding better ways to live!

I'm trying to move to a larger city with more access to education and resources to help me jump to the phase of life. I'm thinking I might live in Boulder or Tucson. I'm look for a place to stay to meet locals and feel new places out.
