ABOUT ME

I grew up in Belgium. At the age of 16, after traveling for a while around the USA in an RV, my family and I settled down in an AWESOME city called Montreal !
About my job, I've been working at the Rialto Theatre, a concert venue in Montreal, for 4 years. I started as a stage technicien, learnt everything on the job and got the Lighting Operator job a year and a half ago. But, I recently realized my career was getting a little too serious and I didn't want to end up with too many responsibilities, keeping me away from travels. So I decided to quit my job and go live in New Zealand for a year with my girlfriend. On the way, we decided to stop in Hawaii for 3 weeks, try to get a glimpse of one of these amazing islands !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I traveled with my girlfriend accros the US for 2 and a half month, and we only couch surfed the whole time ( except for one motel night hitchiking from San Francisco to LA ! ).
We got the chance to see beautiful landscapes, and visit many great cities along the way but we both agreed that, by far, the most amazing part of our trip was CouchSurfing.
We met incredible people, shared many meals we cooked ( we love cooking for our hosts ! ), made friends and had a really awesome time with them ...
And I think this is clearly the main point of traveling !
So we decided never to travel any other ways, Couch Surfing over a 5 stars hotel any time !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Short trip in the US by myself in 2013 and then 2 1/2 months across the US in 2015 with my girlfriend, couch surfing all the way !

We then lived in a small studio in Montreal until today. We can't wait to have a couch to get to Host people ! And visit Montreal with Surfers, hoping to make them see how awesome this city is !
