ABOUT ME

I am an intensely curious adventurous person who loves experiencing and learning about new things. I have a lot of interests and hobbies and enjoy discussing just about any interesting topic with most people I meet. I strongly value kindness and the golden rule and try my best to live it, and am saddened that I come across so many people that are only nice to their close friends and family and treat everyone else like crap.

I work as a consultant for a software company and my work requires a lot of travel (mostly domestic across the US and some on Canada). I have already racked up almost 90k in flight miles this year and it's only July, so as you may guess, I'm a seasoned traveler but don't get to travel for pleasure as much as I'd like. I'm on a mission this year to extend my work trips to interesting places to at least a weekend if not longer to really get to experience the place (I usually fly in and out in 2 days). I'm new to CS but have a good friend who has been telling me about how amazing his experiences have been and about the great people he's met so I figure rather than explore a city alone from a hotel room, CS will give me a head start connecting with people.

I'm a recovering adrenaline junkie who loves to snowboard, travel, hike, bike, enjoy the outdoors and eat and drink at great places. I avoid typical tourist joints and prefer to try to live like a local when I'm out of town and love to explore and try new things. I have a Labrador Retriever who keeps me active and I love to go hiking and to the park with him.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I snowboarded in the French and Swiss Alps this year which was amazing! I did a cruise to Alaska last year and saw arctic glaciers and rivers full of sockeye salmon going upstream to spawn.
