ABOUT ME

i love traveling, going out for parties, meeting new people, talk about science, universe, life, philosophy or interesting anecdotes. I am always curious, excited to learn about a new culture, a new country, a new language, a new sport, a musical instrument... next things on my list is Portuguese, guitar and photography. i enjoy music, running, cooking, at times.. if i had infinite money and time, i would see new countries, cities and not just see but spend time in every place, make local friends and find out that hidden pub or restaurant or coffee shop which is the best but no tourist knows about it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My main goal from couch surfing is to meet awesome travelers. That could be either by hosting them or meeting them through community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to couch surfing by my roommate in Ireland. In two months i was there, we hosted people from France, Portugal, New york, switzerland, .. It was such an amazing experience to learn about different cultures and places. How fun it was to hang out with the travelers.. Take them to parties, parks or cook at home and talk about life at length.

Music, Movies, and Books

Like a geek would, i love action and science fiction movies. I enjoy music like nothing else. Coldplay, Maroon5, Kings of Leon, Killers are great. Not much of a book reader but i really like listening to people who share their good reads.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped from 15000 ft over the Pacific coast.
Swam in the Atlantic on the beautiful beaches of Rio de Janeiro.
Looked at the stars in the darkest night, in Yellowstone.
Hiked to the top of Glacier Point in Yosemite at night.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help with learning anything that i can teach. I can give great tips for exploring the city and most probably, even show it to you myself. I love to learn simple phrases in new languages so if you know a language i don't - :)
