About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I look forward to meeting new people and cultures, sharing experiences, and also meeting good friends from San Francisco, since I am going there next year.

ABOUT ME

Well, I am basically an ordinary guy willing to have an experience abroad. Like I said before, I am a translator and an interpreter working for a global company of language localization, where I deal with every kind of texts from English into Portuguese. My mind is made up already: I am going to San Francisco and studying at San Francisco Institute of English (SFIE).

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is: live every second like it was the last one, fight for your dreams, do everything you can to achieve your goals. As a result, in the future you will have something to be proud of.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet some friends who could let me stay in their houses for a few days. In my opinion it's very important living with natives even if it's for a week (or maybe less), since I will be studying at an ESL school and there won't be any natives from San Francisco, except for teachers, of course. I could do the same. If you are American and intend to know São Paulo, please let me know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't experienced any yet.

Interests

I am interested in:

Learning the most I can about English culture;
Visiting nice places all over the country;
Meeting good friends;
Finding an affordable place to stay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The amazing thing I have done in my life was getting where I am right now. There were so much obstacles in my life which I actually thought I'd never be able to get through. Although I think it's very soon to celebrate, I can say thank you for what I have right now.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Being a very creative and determinated, I could help people to acquire new perspectives and motivate them to go after their dreams;

Learn: I look forward to learning everything from basic details to cultural information. English is a pretty, content-rich language I'm passionate with;

Share: For those willing to learn Portuguese, I could share my native experiences and give some hints to the ones looking forward to visiting my country.
