ABOUT ME

I have plans, big plans: take over the world or cook the perfect mac and cheese. If you want in, then we can do rock-paper-scissors to decide what it will be.

I'm a digital entrepreneur from Montreal, Canada and now living in Berlin after traveling around the world for 15 months.

As for my everyday life, I believe that we have to give our best if we want to get the most out of life, so I love to work hard and play hard.

I'm an intellectual who constantly try to understand more about human behaviours and different cultures. I can get lost in TED talks and on Wikipedia all night.

I'm also an extrovert with a lot to give and love to spend time with passionate people. I can be very serious and analytical, so that is why I enjoy being silly, goofing around, and saying random things to throw people off and laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't had the chance to host because my flatmates weren't comfortable so I have participated to a few Couchsurfing events in Montreal and Berlin. As much as I love hostels when I travel, I like to couchsurf with people that I can click with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met couch surfers through friends and through local couchsurfing events and I have surfed in Bucharest, Maastricht, Barcelona, Berlin, Singapore, and Paris. People have been so generous to me that I want to give back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Winter Camping at -40C. It wasn't planned and for somebody who isn't made for the cold (I belong on a beach), I am quite proud of that adventure.
- Traveled around the world for 15 months.
- played basketball in 29 countries.
- brainstormed, pre-produced, shot, and edited a video within 24h and won best editing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Growing up in an Asian culture, I have eaten a lot of funky stuff and would love to share Asian cuisine.

I love to play basketball so if you are up for a run, I am definitely down. I try to play ball in as many countries as possible. So far, I have played in over 27 different countries.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and I have had a lot of people complimenting my cuisine. Disclaimer: I love to cook with a lot of flavours so I love to cook with fine herbs and spices (not necessarily hot, but flavourful like cumin, basil, ginger, turmeric, paprika, thyme, etc.)
