About Me

ENGLISH: Passionate about exploration voyages and with great curiosity in the world of tourism and adventure, I combine work and hobby at the same time.

After some long trips, I found difficult to contain my desire to travel. In November 2014 I went a step further and tried to travel by boat. I hitch-hike a sailboat to cross the Atlantic, I lack words to describe the emotion to find it, sharing the experience with amazing people, the moment we glimpsed land... and the immense joy of making this dream become true!

Confused about what "must to be done", I tried to settle down and work in a city. But the idea of staying fixed in one place and work on something that didn't get my interest did not convince me.

I felt an uncontrollabe urge to travel, so I decided to follow my instinct and to prioritize traveling in my life. Traveling with no return ticket has captivated me. My intention is to continue exploring without hurries.

I feel at home when I'm in the mountain while I declare myself in love with the sea. I enjoy traveling slow.

When I discover the cruising lifestyle I found fascinating the fact of being self-sufficient with no dependence of freshwater and electricity, always in contact with nature and having the opportunity to travel to places you could not reach otherwise. I am greatly charmed with the cruising lifestyle.

After my first contact with sailboats crossing the Atlantic, I learned how to sail and nowadays I'm happy to say I'm a skipper. This summer 2016 was the first time I dared to rent a sailboat and invited people to come and sail with me, here is the video:

Happy to be living with intensity every day combining learning, work, travel and sport. Delighted learning from the wonders of nomadic life, a unique lifestyle in which I found a great ally, the sailboat.

Me gusta viajar lento.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vK5-Gg24RdE

Music, Movies, and Books

I love this fragment of "Ebano" from Kapuscinski:
"And is that our world, seemingly global, the truth is that it's a conglomeration of hundreds of thousands of the most diverse provinces and they have no meeting point. The world tour is a journey from one province to another, and each of them is a lone star that shines only for itself. For most people who live there, the real world is just at the threshold of his house, on the edge of their village or, at most, on the border of the valley. lle. The world beyond is not real or important, or even necessary, while the one we see, which is covered with sight, it's aumented to our eyes to the size of a cosmos, so immense that prevents us from seeing everything else. It often happens that the local resident and the foreigner have great difficulties finding a common language, as each serve a different perspective to look to the same landscape. The visitor uses a wide angle, which gives a remote and reduced image, and in return, a long line of horizon; while the local interlocutor has always used a telephoto lens or even a telescope, which increases to insignificant details."

é a vida!!"

What I Can Share with Hosts

ENGLISH: I've been hosted as much as I have hosted, having lived both sides I've learned to adapt and understand any situation. Also living on boats, where space is scarce and the times of each person are very important, it has made me understand and respect personal space and time.

And of course, I love to share and exchange stories and moments with the hosts, life is about moments, isn't it?
