About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be able to look back at my life, and feeling satisfied, and not regretting or missing anything. And also work hard, and grow as a person and spirit.

ABOUT ME

Well, well, well... If I had to describe myself in one world, I'd choose extrovert. I'm pretty much an extrovert. I see myself as an easy going, nice, open person, making friends and meeting people all the time. I like going out with my friends, just enjoy life really, always have a laugh, and just to have a good time. I also see myself as a creative person. I love the proccess of creation. There's no such wonderful thing when you imagine something in your head, you start with sketches, may it be music, poetry, fashion, architecture, anything really, and it just goes further and evolves, and then it comes to life, it is the most fulfilling thing. Other than that, I live at Budapest, doing university at ELTE, I'm a major in English and I'm being specialized in Drama and Theatre. I love it here, I love living in a big city, your possibilities are countless. For a person like me, it's the perfect place to live. Besides if I'm not at university, I work or I teach, or just hanging out with friends, doing some fun stuff. At this stage of my life, I'm really just about having fun, discovering new things, people, places and cultures, and just being very open to the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't mean to be pretencious, or anything like that, so I'll try to do this without using too many wise and big words. I would say my main philosophy is basically not being afraid of being challenged. In order to grow as a person, as a spirit, you have to challenge yourself to be able to get further in your life, and get to know new things and broaden your view. I'm also the typical "coulda woulda shoulda" person. I'd love to think that I have no regrets, but sadly it's not true. I'm working on it as I find there's no time for regrets. If you leave in the past thinking how certain things should have happened instead of going forward and living to the present, you just basically waste your time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I didn't have any really. I've recently joined CouchSurfing, as my friends advised me to do so. Although I have no experience so far, my friends love it, they say it's a great way to meet new people.

Interests

Well, as I already mentioned, I love music, it's my bigger interest. I love the creative side of it, I'm very interested what goes on behind the scenes. Mostly, the creative proccess of doing big shows - lighting, staging, costumes, choreography, visuals, all of that. My dream would be working in the music industry, may it be anything, like working at a tour as an assistant or at wardrobe, anything really. I also really like comedy, Chelsea Handler is my favourite comedian, I love her show, Chelsea Lately. I'm very interested in doing parodies and doing impersenations of other people. I really languages too, I speak fluent English and French, but I'd like to broaden my knowledge to languages like Spanish, Italian or German. I see language as a too to get to know other people, go to new places and discover new cultures. I'm also a big theatre fan, I just really love the atmosphere, it's a world I love to get involved in.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not really a movie junkie, I'm more into series, but of course I have my personal favourites, like The Devil Wears Prada, Bridget Jones' Diary, The Matthew Sheppard Story, Death Becomes Her, The Fighting Temptations, J'ai tué ma mere, Les amours imaginaires, Sister Act I & II, Bring It On, The Laramie Project, Andy Warhol's Factory People. I also love musical films such as Dreamgirls, The Sound Of Music, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Easter Parade, The Rocky Horror Picture Show or Sweet Charity.
I love music, it is my first and biggest passion. I love all kinds of music, but my favourite genre I guess is pop music. I love the fact that in pop music, there are no boundaries. You can combine it with anything, like dance, r&b, hip-hop, jazz, soul etc. I especially admire artists and musicians who are great live performers, like Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Madonna or Kylie Minogue. I love people who put on huge stage spectacles.
I'm not a big reader honestly, but when I read, I like to read autobiographies. At the moment I'm reading a book about the life of Marilyn Monroe. I also love Chelsea Handler's books, she's the funniest person on this earth!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, as I'm a huge fan of concert tours, and big live stage spectacles, I would say that the higlights of my life were seeing Beyoncé, Madonna and Lady Gaga performing live on tour. And also just being in Paris and watching the Eiffel Tower in full lights four times. Just wonderful while being on a boat on the Seine.
