Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

**we are currently selling our house, so unfortunately we are not hosting at this time. **

While we aren't hosting, we are totally up for grabbing coffee, taking a hike, or doing some yoga with fellow travelers.

We have one couch and ample floor space to accommodate 2-4 travelers at a time, but only for a night or two as our cabin is pretty small and we already have 3 people who live here. (Everyone is very relaxed tho).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted several times now and surfed twice. Every time has been awesome!

Our first experience surfing in Germany really gave us a good feel for what this community is all about. Magnus made the encounter so fun and comfortable that we thought hey! we gotta keep doing this!

Interests

Yoga (hatha, acro, vinyasa, theraputic), rock climbing, bouldering, hiking, mountain climbing, skiing, snowboarding, road trips, cooking, wine, films, music festivals, travel of course. Eldon is also into break dancing and beatboxing. We are also pretty nerdy into sci-fi haha.

Music, Movies, and Books

We are so ridiculously random on this subject. Kate reads everything! (mostly fantasy). We love movies and watch and discuss all kinds of things. Eldon is into dubstep, rap, Kate likes blues. But we both love hippie music of all sorts. But neither of us are really into country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kate: I climbed 2 mountains within the 5 years that I also beat cancer and debilitating nerve damage to my left hip. Just because they say you can't, doesn't mean they are right.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Kate can teach yoga to our surfers if they are into it. We can also provide info on good hikes and dining in the area. Sometimes we are available to come along!
