About Me

ABOUT ME

I guess my friends see me as kind, helpful, open and patient person.
I'm trying to get to know someone/something well before I judge him/it.
I really like helping people and making them happy.
Since I love exploring new things meeting new people, their views, musical tastes or histories give me great pleasure.
I love cooking, especially when I'm doing it for my friends.
And there is nothing better for my bad mood than a cup of good coffee or a mug of cacao.

PHILOSOPHY

Do not judge if you don't know something. If you are going to criticize or speaking your opinion about something, make sure you really have knowledge and constructive arguments about it.

Try to put yourself in life of other people. It really simplify understanding the feelings and behavior of people around you.

Always expect to get as much as you give. No less, no more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just started my adventure with CS and I really hope it will be amazing experience. At the moment I live in hall of residence and I can't host guest, but it is possible that soon I will rent a flat with friends. Anyway you can always write to me, I can help you with finding a host, answer for your questions, show my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

An amazing weekend trip to Vienna. I met great people there and I hope my next trips will be at least as good as recent one ;)

Interests

Digital and traditional drawing - still working to be perfect. A day without launching Photoshop or without pencil in my hand is a wasted day.

Photography - I have a ton of my lame pictures and since I've got my dad's old camera, I decided to learn doing good pictures.

Hiking in the mountains, skiing - nothing surprising when your home is in the mountains ;)

Writing - shh, I'm gonna be a famous writer in future :]

Medicine - another not surprising fact as I'm med student.

Traveling - I want to visit as much places as I can, before my job as a doctor will nail me to one place.

Music and books - the best way of spending free time.

Cooking - sometimes I can surf the web for hours, looking for new recipes and then trying them. I love herbs and spices.

Coffee - a tasty beginning of my day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - depends on my mood, but I prefer more ambitious ones.
My favourites: The Fountain, The Pianist, V for Vendetta, The Prestige, Rubber, The Dark Knight, Edward Scissorhands, Monthy Python
Best directors: Lynch, Aranofsky, Burton, Nolan

Books - I always have a book in my handbag. Travelling by bus, train or a tram is a great opportunity for reading. I really like fantasy and sci-fi book, but recently I prefer scientific books, especially about psychiatry and neurology.
My favourite writers: Jacek Dukaj, George R.R. Martin, J.R.R. Tolkien, Oliver Sacks, Stanisław Lem, Stephen King

Music is the greatest joy of my life. I don't listen any specific gender, it depends on my mood.
Some examples: Aphex Twin, London Elektricity, The Flashbulb, Fanu, Lamb, Mikromusic, Hidden Orchestra, LTJ Bukem, Tim Hecker
