About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Change the world - by changing myself first :)

ABOUT ME

I'm 26. Thoughtful. Direct. Usually outgoing, sometimes quiet and introverted. Love going out of my way to do something for someone. Athletic - ran track and field in college, played basketball throughout high school. Fairly tall. Fun. Into holistic well-being . I love living in the moment but also taking care of myself like I'll be here for a long time - don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. I love to learn, particularly about performance psychology, success, and effective living. I love being fully present. Living on purpose.

PHILOSOPHY

I do my best to live by the motto: "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever," - Gandhi."

Live with nothing to hide. So at the judgement day I'm proud of the life I have lived. Saying, "Yes, I did that." :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I find something I like, I go all in. I think a lot about it and learn/do as much as possible. After sometime, I can get distracted by the next thing. Then repeat the process.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got a ticket Sept '12 to Paris to visit my girlfriend. I got to stay at 3 people's places and it was GREAT! I was able to customize my request so they were "experts" in French and English (I can't speak French). It was a very memorable experience. I really enjoyed spending time with each of them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Running in the state finals in the 300m hurdles as a senior in high school
Looking out at a valley (Santa Fe) while on the mountain
Green roof of the Academy of Science in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco
The sunrise over the wing of the airplane while taking a 6am flight across the USA
Purchasing a Baguette & sandwich in Paris in broken French.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share thoughts and ideas about what I've been independently studying.

Learn: No two people are exactly the same because no two people have lived exactly the same lives. So I enjoy hearing other people's stories to learn about them and apply it to my life. Overall, I'm fairly open to learning & new experiences.
