ABOUT ME

I am a very non judgmental and optimistic person. I like to empower others and respect every human despite the flaws they or other think they have. I am at the point in my life where I can explore all of life's possibilities and at times it can be overwhelming. I believe in living one day at a time though and seek happiness each day.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess this could be summed up by the description of myself. I am a very open person and I share how I feel or think but I am also very respectful and caring and never malicious. I live my life because I know I have a bigger purpose than what I have been exposed to at my young age. I do not want to live like everyone else; I have a nomadic soul. I believe everyone is unique and different and that is what makes life beautiful but I do not associate with hateful people and do not listen to negativity. I am very spiritual and love to pray all the time whether it be in my head or out loud.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have recently started couch surfing and I have visited Houston, TX and look forward to the other experiences I will have traveling! I have visited many friends and sorority sisters who always let me stay on a couch when I am traveling for fun or for business!

Interests

I am interested in gardening, animals, insects, and mostly, the ocean. I am a rescue diver and love to SCUBA dive. My passion is anything nature related. I love to hike, I rock climb, and swim a lot. I also enjoy painting and learning new forms of art like clay and sculpting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like old movies from the nineties but do not watch tv much or remember movies and their plots but I do enjoy going to the movies when the film is meaningful. I have so many musical influences in my life and there is pretty much no music that I absolutely dread. I am not one for categories because there are always outliers and new music to be heard. I love the message, the beat, and the elective instrumentals when listening to music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done (so far) in my life, was travel alone to Dominican Republic to meet my father for the first time as an adult(we were apart for over 19 years). I had no expectations for the journey but I was expecting him to be happy to see me and it was not really like that. So what amazes me, is how I survived being alone and my efforts to make it a great experience despite his efforts to emotionally disregard me. I am also amazed at how much of an inspiration I have become to my friends as a woman and entrepreneur.
