All about me? Here's some: My name is Umut. I'm 20 years old and student at the university of Darmstadt Technical University, Architecture. I can also drawing. My favourite activities include going on adventures, getting to know awesome people, going to dubstep shows, photography, pretending to be an amazing cook, playing boardgames and writing.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for make lifes around me better. I try to do my best for that. Sure, I'm not an example, but at least, I try to change myself everyday to be a better person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first got to know CS when I lived in Hannover, Deutschland. I then hosted people in our shared flat in Bremen. Now I'm trying to get to know the CSers of Freiburg.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Essentially, CS has restored my faith in humanity.

Interests

Obviously travelling, exploring without a map, reading fiction, non-fiction and cookbooks, writing actual letters, libraries, smoothies, journalism, penguins and butterflies, attitude, Dexter, trivia, running, the Wrens, blue shoes, getting things for free, a little bit of trash TV, hugs, nostalgia, letters, jelly beans, talking to taxi drivers, pools, getting obsessed, being passionate, and a couple of other things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Best movies for me are the ones wich can transmit something good for making us different, for making us better. I think people need to see less movies about fiction, about horror and start watching some good movies, like: Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain; Un long dimanche de fiancelle; Good bye, Lenin!; Everything is illuminated; Big Fish; Paris, je t'aime; Paying it forward; Ensemble, c'est tout; Le pianiste; and some others of the same type.
About musics, I like good music. If the music is good... I'll love it.
I really like reading, but I haven't been reading so much lately, actually not reading litterature books, but reading so much engineering books. Well... I'm reading anyway. But I like Dan Brown, his books are very interesting and smart. My propose is reading all his books soon.
