About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Ski and speak German as good as an Austrian!

ABOUT ME

Last spring I realized that I've spent all my life in school. I'm not saying there'e anything wrong with that, but there's a whole world out there, and I felt as if it was time for me to experience more of it. It was time for a break from the studies.

I spent last autumn travelling around Asia. Since that was the greatest thing I've ever done, I figured that it might not be time to go back to my old life just yet.

So here I am, in Austria, trying to speak some german and do some skiing before summer. Who knows what will happen then?

PHILOSOPHY

Let that, that does not matter, truly slide. Don't worry, be happy! (Real clichés, but that doesn't make it any less true.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm just surfing, but I'd love to host when I'm back living in the same place for alonger period.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much yet. Eager to get some more!

Interests

Travelling (duh), skiing, scuba diving (recent discovery), eating good food, drinking good beer, chilling (probably my top skill), also up for trying anything new

Music, Movies, and Books

I just listen to whatever music I find good a moment, every genre has something to offer.

I must confess that Disney's the Lion King is still my favourite movie of all time.

When it comes to books I'm into funny books, with that kind of humour that's just a little bit bizarre, such as "the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy", norweigan author "Erlend Loe" or Swedish author "Mikael Niemi"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The underwater world in general, the manta rays in particular, five or six meters wide, but still the most gracious creature you'd ever see.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have sure learned a lot from people I've met during my recent travels. Everyone has so much more to offer than one realizes, and hopefully that applies to me too.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Russian Federation, Singapore, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Austria, Norway, Sweden
