About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to live life to the fullest.

ABOUT ME

My friends would probably describe me as relaxed, easy going, sarcastic and earth-loving hippie who listens to progressive heavy metal and loves beer. And I think they are right.

PHILOSOPHY

I live day by day and try not to worry too much. I like to get new experiences and learn new stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this, so I'm not quite sure how this will turn out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this website but I have spent numerous nights on different couches in my lifetime.

Interests

Nowadays I spend my time as a stay-at-home-mom dreaming about traveling the world (again). I love cooking and having friends over. I hate cleaning though, so it is always a bit messy over at our place.

I like books, movies, museums, board games and learning new things. I'm always up for an adventure!

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh well, I just spent the year 2011 by trying to read top 100 must-read-books and I only got to 92 when the time run out. Now 2012 I'm watching classic films. This time I'm not keeping any schedules.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent 5 weeks back-bagging in Europe and 7 months in Asia and those trips are the two most amazing things I have done. Oh... wait a minute! Was I supposed to say having a baby was the most amazing thing I've done? Oops!

Teach, Learn, Share

In these intercultural contexts one has to remember, that Finns have a bigger tolerance of silence than many other cultures. So to us it is not rude to sit around and not say anything. On the other hand, we have to remember that everyone else is not as comfortable with silence as we are.
