About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Building a future I would love to live in

ABOUT ME

What can I say...I'm a quiet person some might say, some might say I'm crazy...I really don't know! For sure I am a bit moony, so you can't get bored with me :)
I love meeting friends, talking, chatting, most of all learning things about the world and the people!

I recently moved to Denmark for working at my Master thesis at DTU

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to not enjoy it

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Portugal with my best friend (using her account) and met really nice people there! I also surfed in Rostock with my boyfriend, and the same happened. So now I really have to do my own CS account and just keep discovering how beautiful the world is, despite everything.

Interests

I study energy engineering (Master of Science), and I already got my three years degree in mechanical engineering at Florence university. I really like what I study, I'm interested in renewables energies and sustainable development, and I really hope that as soon as I got my degree I will find a work which allow me to do something useful for people and for our Planet. Most of all I would like to work with farms, with bioenergy and anything related to use our resources more efficiently.
I grew up in the countryside near Florence, and I am sure that agricolture will play a central role in the years to come, everywhere in the world.

I like being involved and trying to understand where the world is going, politically, economically etc..by reading books and news and talking to people.
More over, I really like learning new languages, I learned some german during my Erasmus in Berlin, and this winter I even stared learning Finnish...I think that one of the most interesting things in the world is communicating with people and to learn from them, wherever they are from. Knowing languages helps a lot!

I like sports, especially outdoor like running, skiing, ice skating or just walking. I would love to learn how to surf! (maybe next summer..?)
Ah, I love animals, a lot. I'm definitely in love with my cat, true story.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I'm quite into Italian literature: Meneghello, Rigoni Stern, La Capria, Calvino. Music, I'm a total ignorant about music, I just listen what I like...I can say that my favorite bands are Coldplay and Rammstein. Not very coherent I know. Let's say I'm open-minded ;)
Best films I've seen lately:
La mafia uccide solo d'estate
Et maintenant on va où?
Vertigo
