About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Adjust to "real life"

ABOUT ME

Sarcastic, nice and good humored. A little shy at times, get a few pints in me and I think I'm funny (not sure if that's public opinion but I like to tell myself that).
Just finished my first long trip and still rolling in Backpacker-mode. Trying to snap out of it and get back into corporate-mode, but I don't want toooo! :) Backpacker-mode may also lead to stupid, spontaneous decision making

PHILOSOPHY

Que Sera.
No regrets if it once made you laugh or smile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to listen to others traveling stories and advice. Sometimes the best people to talk to are the locals so I love to learn about things not in a brochure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great! I met so many people and great experiences. Should be an interesting experience to be a host and pay it forward.

Interests

Rugby, beer, wine, gin and tonics, traveling (obviously)

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many movies to name. When I had time and a DVR, I used to watch a lot of tv shows, Lost, Heroes, How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, Dr. Who, Hotel Babylon, Greys Anatomy, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Family Guy, etc.
books: anything but the Twilight series

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting over my fear of heights by being crazy.

swimming in tide pools in Hawaii. Absolutely gorgeous. We had to scale down a cliff to do it but it was one of those things that were simply amazing and worth it.
Also, sky diving in Taupo was amazing.
And Jumping off a cliff into the water at Koh Sok, TH

New England in autumn, such a cliche, but I'm from New York and you don't really appreciate things until they're gone.

Teach, Learn, Share

Important lesson: also look both ways before crossing the street. I almost got hit by a horse carriage at Mardi Gras in New Orleans, I survived, though.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Cambodia, Dominican Republic, Fiji, Ireland, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
