About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find out where is everybody

ABOUT ME

At first, calm, very calm and serious from the outside, thoughtful, very sensitive in the inside and adorably weirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrd!! (& proud) XD... I can be outgoing and wildly funny sometimes, it's just it might take a bit long to come out.

So please don't let appearances deceive you, I can be way better than you expect I promise! I know I might seem shy, distant, too formal, cold or suspicious at the start. It's just a pose and sooner than you are aware of it, you will know how lovely and unforgettable I can become hehe.

And now that I've let you know... don't say I didn't warn you ;)

Ps: Oh! Another seldom version of me is the nihilistically frivolous and a bit mocking one LOL... harmless after all, believe me!

PHILOSOPHY

Staring at Danish people I realised something again....... despite there're chances to be more relaxed as CS proves... the kindest act of philantropy an individual can do is often learning as best as you can how to look after yourself.... I think that's the essential true feature behind the achievements of Scandinavian societies..... and something which can help sorting out everybody's priorities in life and even in our daylife.

Two things that don't go well at all with my way of living are conflict and hostility....... I think it's not necessary to be bad to demonstrate your strength (but I'm not a fool OK?? So don't piss me off LOL).

I intensely believe that everything comes or happens for a reason which sometimes means much more than it may seem from a narrow or, if you prefer, single point of view from our culturally and biologically conditioned conscious cognition as Plato exposed... why? Because everything is inside the BIG EQUATION and everything leaves a footprint... therefore, all what happens around you is important for your existence or a consequence of something important for it.

I'm also a devoted thinker of the perspective that every single thing is connected to a constant movement of balancing and unbalancing of the universe's materia and energy, from one atom to an entire galaxy, from the tiny spark to the supernova explosion... duality is in the basis of all (though is not all of the basis), in a Jungian sense it's behind and within contradictions of us, human beings, of course, with our capacity to do the best and most enlightening while we are able to commit the unimaginable annihilation of all hope... so finally it's in our hands how we manage duality (once we detect what this duality is composed of and the main forces and transmission channels which have influence on a specific duality mechanism) and the kind of existence we deserve in this world we inhabit.

I've a restless curiosity and fascination towards exploring the deepness of the human soul and how complex, touching, misterious and eventually dark and abject it could be... although my personal aim is always to look at the bright side of life and make it worth living in harmony with others... and well, sometimes I achieve it, most of the times not, to be honest, but it's OK while I'm still in harmony with myself and alive... hence my chances keep open :)

I don't actually like calling "personal philosophy" what in fact may be more properly called as personal mindset..... It is a common extended over the past years use for that word but philosophy will ever be love for knowledge... at least to me.

Oh BTW, just in case, I don't do drugs in my everydaylife and I've never abused of drugs not even when I writte on my CS profile LOL

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've attended several meetings & activities and I intend to participate in a big bunch more cause I really enjoy them.

At the moment I don't offer couch permanently (only occasionally) and I'm not seeking for couch (just eventually) since I consider reciprocity as an important value!

I've hosted five persons from CS so far (to date 14th of May 2014), although some of them still haven't left me a reference, it will be positive for sure, since they had no complains and we've had friendly meetings after that. In case you wanted to confirm that, you can ask for example Katarina Bozic (she is in my friends list) through PM.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Comprising meetings, hosting (5 times), organizing small meetings in Barcelona and also abroad, joining two camps/gatherings, taking part in forum threads... and starting as a guest/surfer on summer 2014.

I found out about the Couchsurfing community when I travelled to Toronto for the first time. I had the opportunity to know very nice people and I absolutely believe it made my experience far more unique and truly richer.

In my opinion 99% of couchsurfers are great and interesting people who always have a story to tell and wish to share the best of themselves... about the other 1% I think it's just they still don't know how excellent they can be!

But you know what? The best of all when you are in CS is having the feeling of more and better fun coming just around the corner!

Interests

The so called Indie music and reading especially about business, technology, lifestyles, history and current events... I'm kind of a freaky expert in militar history, armament and prominently on the world of warplanes (yeah I know it sounds bad but I can explain it haha)... I also enjoy writting about feelings, reflections from personal experiences and my point of view about the world, life an the others.

I'm attracted towards almost everythig related to Asia; I love Asian food, their contrast with western mindset on many concerns, their history, society, cultural expressions and values and much more! I'm interested on Japan and Thailand mainly but also on Philippines, Corea, Cambodia & China (mainland and Taiwan).

I like martial arts and sports. I practise muay thai and tennis regularly. I like trekking/hiking and football/soccer as well!

Arts and all kinds af expressions involving creativity also beyond writting; I'm pretty good at drawing... on the other hand I'm still a frustrated bass player but I keep on trying to success, sometimes hehe. Someday I would like to try out with sculpture. Anyone who can teach me a little bit?

I love the nature and animals living free at their own environment. I know many facts about existing and prehistoric fauna given that it was a passion I had when I was a child. My favourite pets are dogs and among them the dearest and most beloved one for me is my golden retriever Scotty P. de Jesús!

I feel seduced by the misterious charm and beauty of space nebulas from long ago in my teenhod... I'm interested on other amazing knowledge and marvels that the astronomy unveils for the joy of curious minds.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books (novels) like for example Guillermo Fadanelli's, Franz Kafka's, Sam Lipsite's, William B. Yeats's, Haruki Murakami's, William Shakespeare's, Dan Abnett's, Arturo Perez-Reverte's, Albert Sánchez Piñol's, Monserrat Abelló's and many many others.

Music from Nine Inch Nails, Interpol, The Russian Futurists, Mishima, White Lies, FM Belfast, A Place to Bury Strangers, Who Made Who, Joy Division, Pink Floyd and a looot more.

Movies as, to say some random ones, Lost In Translation, The Star Wars saga, Akira, Jurassic Park, Letters From Iwo Jima, The Thin Red Line, Mononoke's Princess, Trainspotting, The Big Lebowski, La Flaqueza del Bolchevique and a long etcetera.

(I like comics as well, newspapers, learning through internet, magazines, periodicals plus videogames and I love documentaries of WHATEVER subject so muuuch!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can sleep 22h non-stop after a 36h trekking excursion... well, OK, these are two amazing things not just one actually ^_^

Bonus one: met a gold and diamonds smuggler once.. he was super chitty-chatty and indeed one of the friendliest persons I've ever met.

Teach, Learn, Share

Count on me to teach you my Spanish and Catalan language for your Japanese, English, Thai, Dutch, Hindi, French, Hebrew and maybe others!

Also giving you advice, tips & tricks about places I've traveled to.... including how to survive crash lessons, what may be the best way to deal with locals and some cool places to visit and enjoy.

Oh and don't forget to ask for my totally disposable skills!! Like for example recognize almost any car model by its front lights in the middle of the night or making belly dance moves to just mention a few of them hehe.

I wish I could get started with sculpture as I mentioned before and also with drawing coloring techniques... I can give you beginners muay thai and tennis lessons, self-taught drawing tips & tricks, let you know more about the topics I'm into, as well as about Spanish and Catalan culture, introduce you in some aspects of business management, etc.

I would like to share vegetarian or vegan recipes... or what about having a dinner together and bring our home-made dishes? Yum yum hehe :P

And after that, I will tell you the story of "Lobo the King of Kurrumpaw"... a mindblowing story of challenge, bitterness and inspiration... one at the height of the most magnificient stories of all time!!

What I Can Share with Hosts
