About Me

CURRENT MISSION

| Live simply, so others may simply live |

ABOUT ME

I'm a very sociable and fun-loving guy and enjoy travels and new experiences. I have an appreciation and love of life, am adventurous, spontaneous and open-minded and always up for meeting people from all over the world!

Love to be a part of new things, whether exploring new horizons, climbing new mountains, volunteering somewhere, travelling into the unknown or just hanging out with fellow travellers.

Really enjoy the outdoors, hiking, wildlife and everything and anything to do with the sea!

Always enjoy sharing travel stories and tips and knowledge of our world with other travellers and I am always willing to help others.

I am a positive, kind and patient person with a happy outlook on life. I am interested, curious and wanting to find out more about other people, cultures and the world.

Really enjoy immersing myself in a place and experiencing it's culture, people, traditions, language, food and vibe!

You'll find me chasing the sun!

PHILOSOPHY

"If everyone in the world saw themselves as individuals whose actions have an effect on global commons we would be half-way to healing the environment..."

Do something good with your life, be involved and be inspired! Grasp what is around you and take it all in! Life is short, live it! Only you set your limits and the only limitation you have is your imagination. Be a traveller and not a tourist, see beyond what is right in front of you. Try new things and meet new people.

In the words of Gandalf:
"the world is not in your books and maps, it'€™s out there"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Always willing to host if I can, and will help anyone out with anything I can when in Cape Town!

Really enjoy sharing knowledge, advice, tips and special places Cape Town has to offer with other travellers!

If you like I can help you out with advice on cool local spots, activities, interesting places to see off of the general tourist map and travel in other Southern African countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had great experiences and adventures through Couchsurfing! Met some awesome people that I'm sure I will know and stay friendly with for years to come.

I will always offer to host if I can and always up for meeting fellow travellers.

I haven't couchsurfed that much myself yet, but have had awesome experiences when I have. Have stayed in some great places, met amazing people and have had adventures of a lifetime!

Somehow I've always had crazy adventures and 'surfed' in beds, hammocks, bath tubs and the on the floor. Slept in airports, trains, cars, buses and boats. Stayed under the sky, on the beach, and out in the wild... And I've loved it!

Always keen for new Couchsurfing experiences!
