ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Trevor Martin. My main studies include spirituality and philosophy. In addition to writing and performing many songs, participating in radio shows and live appearances such as concert venues, I have begun writing my first book A Chance to Begin Again, Once Again. I have dedicated my life to the research and studies of life, reality, and this thing we call the human experience.

Since a young age I have always had a calling to be an artist. I started at a young age, drawing pictures for friends in school. I had been writing and recording rap music under the name Makesense, for about five years when I incorporated writing self-help eBooks in 2012. My focus is to inspire people to live the life of THEIR dreams by releasing all the conditioning they have backed up in our minds. I use eclectic spirituality to relay my message to people, so almost anyone can get something from my work.

The audience I’m trying to reach would be anyone who is in the beginning stages of an awakening, or searching to bring in a new paradigm of spirituality. Through the vision of sharing “Art For Your Heart”, I Trevor Martin, President and CEO of Makesense LLC, will use music, paintings, books etc. to help expand the collective consciousness on this beautiful place we call earth.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that through time and social conditioning people have been turned into robots and have forgotten their true strength. I believe life is a lot more beautiful then we have all been led to believe, I follow the main teachings of all holy books, we are not our bodies, we are divine beings, we need to release attachments that keep us suffering so we can experience true happiness and beauty.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking for like minded people, who i can work with in any area so i can grow, learn and live outside of my comfort zone to expand my knowledge of the world and others. I'm looking for a place to stay, I would like to travel around the US until I find a job, or make enough somewhere, where I can serve others, I have tried to do multiple volunteer jobs over seas but never had the money. I'm hoping I can help people out by sharing what I've learned about reality and spirituality, meet some amazing people and share some awesome stories. I'm willing to help out anyway I can, for a place to lay my head and a good conversation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing really when it comes to this site but I'm very non judgmental and open to others, I consider myself pretty cultured so I'm sure this will be an awesome experience.

I love all sorts of music, mainly uplifting hip-hop and pop, but I am pretty open to all genres.
I love movies with a good moral background that has people think about their own life and actions
I mainly read spiritual, philosophical based books

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I've written a book called Things to Ponder and am currently working on my second book currently titled Stumbling in the Dark, I've recorded a rap demo that was on iTunes and I made a jingle for my last job that was distributed throughout the US and they threw me a CD release party for it, it was amazing :)The most amazing thing I've seen, is how following your heart brings a great amount of inner awakening
