I've been working as a make up artist and hairstylist for 5 years in Toronto, Canada. I work mainly on commercial and music videos. I'm also a hula hooper and always travel with my trusty collapsible hoop (and would be happy to teach you a few tricks!) :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel but don't consider myself a tourist. I love this site because I am able to connect with locals and get an idea of what it's really like in a city. I don't want to waste my time seeing landmarks that are only set up for tourists, and locals barely pay attention to (good example, nobody from Toronto cares about the CN Tower!)

I'm not able to host at this time (unless it's someone I have met before!) due to my roommate situation. I am also not looking to be hosted, as I prefer to be able to run on my own schedule. I'm on here to connect with locals in the city that i'm traveling to, in hopes they will show me their favorite places, and what they love about their city!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've up and moved cities a few times, when I was really young, to follow my dreams, all by myself. Moving to a big city is really hard on your own, and I'm proud of myself for having the confidence and the perseverance to do it.
