Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to meet lots of fun people either through events or through actual surfing. I think it is a great way to meet some new people in a different country as see parts of the culture you would not see otherwise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I did some surfing a few years ago but keen to do some more.

Interests

Obviously travel is a huge interest of mine. The list of places I want to see just keeps growing. I am also a member of the workaway community which is also staying with a host family for a week in exchange you do work tasks they need doing.

I recently took up the interest of swing dancing. I have always enjoyed all types of dancing but something about this style of dancing fascinates me. I'm not great yet but I am getting better.

In April this year I was in Gallipoli, Turkey for the important day of Anzac Day.

I love meeting people that have had different life experiences to myself as I learn a new perspective and widens my knowledge.

Of course whilst travelling it is always nice to meet and have a chat from someone that has come from somewhere familiar talking about what we miss from home and reminisce.
