To travel all of Latin America ~ I know that sounds crazy, but there's something about Latin America that intrigues me!!

I'm sure they'll say I'm a bit spontaneous at times and outgoing and at times a bit conservative and reserved. Lately I've been more of a couch potato! Open to new things, life is just to short to not cut yourself some slack!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new at this - just became a member on 9/5/12; didn't even know this existed if not for some friends I met in Guatemala who told me about this site. I guess this is a new way to make new friends both domestically and internationally.

Interests

I love to travel and spend a great deal of time researching the countries I visit. Everything colonial in Central and South America generally grabs my attention. I spend my time at home but every so often I go camping, spend time with friends, read, play cards, some sports, ~ not a picky person on this end.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love going to the movies. I'm a great marvel-fan (long live the X-men)!!...I love pop music more than anything else but do listen to rock, merengue, salsa, and R&B frequently. And as far as books I recommend Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by John Perkins...you'll love it, I know I did.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Several things have left me "awestruck" but none like the Grand Canyon or Rio de Janeiro from atop of Corcovado. It's breathtaking.
