I hate these little blurbs- but I build housing for living (except not really, I do the office work, I don't actually build things), avid cyclist, hobby photographer, a big music fan, and a vehement lover of travel. I've had the privilege of traveling all over the U.S. (the west coast in particular), the east coast of australia, and various corners of Europe. I'm an easy going and considerate person, very amiable, and always open to a new experience and a good time.

I was lucky enough to stay with and meet a handfull of wonderful people couchsurfing in Europe and I'm now looking to expand through further surfing and hopefully some hosting in the U.S. Also- I love to teach people the things I love, whether it be about academic shiz, sailing, photography, architecture, or just a good conversation about good music--I'm always happy to share what I've got to share.

I've surfed (through this network, at least) in Berlin and Istanbul... both were fantastic experiences. I love this project's mission!

Musica, film e libri

Music...oh, music- I love a LOT of music--rock'n roll- classic, contemporary, alternative, and punk--bands too numerous to list. I have a special interest in doing what I can to promote smal punk bands though-I DJ a mainly-local punk rock radio show in Tacoma, Washington & the punk community is something I value a lot. But I also always dig a good electronic show of almost any genre--it's all in the vibe, in my opinion.

Worked on the television program Mythbusters, taught sailing in the San Francisco Bay, watched Barack Obama become president (@ the rally in Grant Park, Chicago), gotten published in an academic journal.

I'm experienced in teaching Sailing and Sailboat racing! I can also teach you about photography, and have an academic background in psychology and astronomy.

I'd love to learn more about philosophy, physics, and other extreme/wind sports.
