Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like having people stay with me, it's fun to meet new people and make new friends. It's hard to sync up schedules and make time in a persons' busy life but that is what is great to remember to do as often as possible, meet new people and take time to foster friendships.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience of couch surfing was a little dodgy (my newly picked up English slang) and I was a bit turned off by the experience, then I remembered that everyone has a different story so moving on and forward was the best way to handle the interesting situation, now I can say that I enjoy couch surfing and have had many wonderful hosts who went out of there way to help me and make me feel comfortable, and for that I am very grateful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Macchu Picchu... walking up the 3 mile switch back trail and seeing the sun come up on the ruins.

Stonehenge, massive and wondrous, the weather was blisteringly cold, but it was well worth it.

Saw the Eiffel tower, magnificent and intricately designed structure when it was snowing!

Toured the Berlin wall. Went to Berghain (famous club)!

The baths in Budapest, it couldn't get much better than that.

Went to the bone chapel in Kutna Hora, Cz. 40k bones in a church, its considered one of the creepiest places in the world.

Went to the Taj Mahal, and rafting in the Ganga, in Rishikesh, India. Pretty special if you ask me...

Held a baby tiger in Amsterdam, toured the Red Light district at night, scary, NO!

Hiked the Carpathian's in Ukraine and was up close and personal with them during the social revolution of 2014.

Traveled the Balkans went to Vlad the Impaler's castle and swam in the Black Sea.

Motor scootered in Thailand and didn't die! Haha...

Teach, Learn, Share

Showed my new friends from Austria a wine aerator, they seemed to be impressed.
So far, I have been learning some English slang, and some cool history of England, which ciders are the best ;) and about traveling!
Learned the difference between the kisskiss greeting from France and the (one) kiss greeting from Belgium, haha!!
India is like the twilight zone on acid.
Budapest is like the greatest city in the world.
Prague melts my heart.
Berlin! Where even grandmas have punky hair.
I got to make my host Baptiste some dinner, chicken with fig basalmic sauce and roasted potatoes with salad of course.
Learned some French!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a clean and respectful, a good cook and great conversationalist. I can teach you yoga and give you a haircut.

I don't need much attention but if time allows venturing together or having a meal together would be very special to me!
